<P align=center>爵士天后唱將Cassandra Wilson在這張精選輯中，讓我們聽到她重現了艾拉．費茲潔羅、比莉．哈樂黛等傳奇歌手時年的爵士精神，將當代流行歌曲，重新以時代爵士的風格加以詮釋。這些歌曲雖然都是流行金曲，但卻不見得都是流行（pop）歌，有些是搖滾樂、有些是靈魂歌曲，因此其風格是非常多樣，更因此讓人對她採用爵士來翻唱的成果感到好奇，並在聆聽後，更是讓人驚喜無比。這11首歌曲收錄自過去她在Blue Note發行的七張專輯中所演唱的流行名曲，雖然她演唱的風格援引藍調、搖滾、民謠各式的唱腔樂風，但總不脫一慣的內斂和沉思氣息，這正是她演唱魅力中最吸引人的部份，也因此，整張專輯中11首歌曲的錄製年代雖然前後橫跨將近15年，但是聽起來卻像是以同一概念為同張專輯錄製成的。</P>
