Samuel Timothy "Tim" McGraw (born May 1, 1967) is an American country singer and actor. With many of his albums and singles topping the country music charts, Tim has achieved total album sales in excess of 40 million units. He is married to country singer Faith Hill and is the son of former baseball player Tug McGraw. His trademark hit songs include "Indian Outlaw", "Don't Take the Girl", "I Like It, I Love It", "Something Like That", "It's Your Love" (featuring his wife, Faith Hill), and "Live Like You Were Dying".
 
McGraw had eleven consecutive albums to debut at Number One on the Billboard albums charts; Twenty-one singles to hit number 1 on the Billboard Hot Country 100 chart; three singles named the #1 country song of the year; ("It's Your Love", "Just To See You Smile", and "Live Like You Were Dying") Won 3 Grammys, 14 Academy of Country Music awards, 11 Country Music Association (CMA) awards, 10 American Music Awards and 3 People's Choice Awards. Ranked as one of the top five in all genres of music, his Soul2Soul II tour with Faith Hill became the highest-grossing tour in country music history.[1]
 
McGraw has ventured into acting, with a supporting role in the Billy Bob Thornton film Friday Night Lights, The Kingdom, a lead role in 2006's Flicka and a supporting role in Four Christmases with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon. It was released on March 22, 1994. It charted #1 on Billboard's Top 200, and charted #1 on Billboard Country chart and stayed for 26 consecutive weeks. It was Billboard's best selling album of 1994. For all genres of that year, it was in the top five. The Academy of Country Music named it Album of the Year in 1994.
Five singles were released from this album: in order of release, they were "Indian Outlaw", "Don't Take the Girl", "Down on the Farm", the title track, and "Refried Dreams". Respectively, these reached #8, #1, #2, #1, and #5 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts; the first two singles were both Top 20 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 as well.

A Place in the Sun was the fifth album of American country music artist Tim McGraw. It was released on May 4, 1999. "Please Remember Me" was nominated for Best Male Country Vocal Performance at the 2000 Grammy awards. "My Best Friend" was nominated in the same category the following year. The CD was originally available with a limited edition booklet that featured 2 transparent sleeves inside. Subsequent releases have all the same info, although they do not include the transparent pages.
This album produced the singles "Please Remember Me", "Something Like That", "My Best Friend", and "Some Things Never Change"; "Please Remember Me" was originally recorded by Rodney Crowell on his 1995 album Jewel of the South, and was a #69 country hit for him that year. Except for the #7-peaking "Some Things Never Change", all the singles on this album reached Number One on the Hot Country Songs charts; "Seventeen" and "Señorita Margarita" also reached the lower regions of that chart from unsolicited airplay.

Set This Circus Down is the seventh album by country music singer Tim McGraw. Certified 3× Multi-Platinum by the RIAA for U.S. sales of three million copies, the album produced four singles for McGraw on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. All of these singles — "The Cowboy in Me", "Unbroken", "Angry All the Time" and "Grown Men Don't Cry" — reached Number One on that chart. "Things Change" is a studio recording of a song which McGraw previously recorded live; the live rendition charted at #32 on the country charts in 2000 from unsolicited airplay. Another track from this album, the song "Telluride", charted at #52, also without being officially released. This song was also recorded by Josh Gracin on his 2008 album We Weren't Crazy, from which it was released as a single. "Angel Boy" was made into a music video.
