本名Adele Emily Sandé的Emeli Sande，11歲譜出人生第一首自創曲、16歲吸引唱片公司注意，在2008年正式出道，2012年以首張正式專輯【Our Version of Events】一炮而紅，登上英國金榜的冠軍寶座，並且獲得眾多權威大獎肯定，更在全球賣出300萬張以上，坐擁極佳的銷售成績；2016年再接再厲，釋出【Long Live the Angels】，再次改寫英國樂壇的節奏藍調與靈魂樂神話，一舉奪得英國金榜的亞軍席次，並為自己拿下第四座全英音樂獎的獎座，同時獲得MOBO音樂大獎、BET音樂大獎以及BBC音樂大獎的提名肯定。2017年，Emeli Sande在音樂上的豐功偉業和無比貢獻，讓她獲得英國女皇頒發「大英帝國勳章-員佐勳章(MBE)」，成為少數在音樂榮譽上能夠與Elton John、Paul McCartney平起平坐的音樂人。
