<P align=center>日光甫沒入地平線的初秋，天色透著憂鬱的淡藍微光，白晝的餘溫仍輕巧懸浮於空氣間，蕭索涼意已不知不覺地附著在肌膚上，那帶著點刺激感的迷濛感、交雜不安與靜謐的反差唯美，是我心中Blonde Redhead所詮釋的音樂風景。</P>
<P align=center>這組由日本女孩Kazu Makino與義大利孿生兄弟Amedeo Pace、Simone Pace組成的紐約樂隊，由早年的實驗噪音聲響一直到加盟4AD後幻化出的夢幻氣質，蒼白的吉他音色、Spacey迷離電氣與Kazu Makino帶著稚氣童音的撩人吟唱，讓他們儘管總被拿來與Sonic Youth、My Bloody Valentine與Cocteau Twins等相提並論，卻始終蘊含著獨一無二的妖異氣質。</P>
<P align=center>睽違3年的《Penny Sparkle》，除了邀來Drew Brown（Beck、Radiohead）、協力打造《23》的Alan Moulder（Depeche Mode、My Bloody Valentine）外，大半歌曲皆交由接連獲邀與Massive Attack、版权问题不能发布，抱歉、Fever Ray合作的瑞典混音奇葩Van Rivers & The Subliminal Kid掌舵，開場駕馭著明亮電氣旋律的〈Here Sometimes〉、跳耀電子微粒如影隨形的〈Not Getting There〉、瀰漫Trip-hop深邃幽異的〈Will There Be Stars〉，到惹人心碎的慢板Synthpop小品〈My Plants Are Dead〉，更加電氣化的曲式間，Blonde Redhead一如以往脫俗優雅，以一種令人砰人心動的姿態重生。</P>
<P align=center>《23》絕對是Blonde Redhead一次完美的蛻變，然而，《Penny Sparkle》卻又在這美麗裡頭，出人意表地開啟另一扇門，白濛濛的瞪鞋霧氣沉入底蘊，來自北歐的無瑕寧靜緩緩蔓延，以他們身上前所未見的蒼白浪漫，將人推進更深層的夢境，如斯自然而平靜的傷感，讓人期望這和煦便是永恆，心甘情願的耽溺其中，再也不要醒來。</P>
